Ayesha Takia Azmi, who is married to well-known entrepreneur Farhan Azmi, is planning to open a chain of cafes called ‘Chai Coffee’. The first outlet is expected to open in Versova, Mumbai.
ANJAANA ANJAANI, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra and directed by Siddharth Raj Anand, is almost complete, except for a 3-day shooting. Since the makers couldn’t get permissions to shoot on a bridge in U.S.A., the portions are currently being shot in Malaysia.
While on ANJAANA ANJAANI, although the release of the film has been fixed for 1st October, Siddharth is keen to bring it in July, almost three months before its scheduled date.

Although the restaurant opens at 7 pm, the staff at Koyla, Andheri, put on their starched uniforms an hour in advance and go about their daily chores. Arrangements are made to grill kebabs, which is the restaurant’s specialty. There is a general movement of pots and pans while we wait for the owners Farhan Azmi and Ayesha Takia to arrive. As soon as they do, Takia greets us with a warm smile. And Azmi—who owns the Colaba outlet of Koyla and both the branches of Café Basilico in Colaba and Bandra—makes it clear that this one’s a franchise outlet run by his family friend Hasan Gaffar and he is only a stake holder.

Ayesha Takia has finally signed a new movie post her marriage to restaurateur Farhan Azmi. She was working on Revathy Sharma’s Aapke Liye Hum with Jaya Bachchan and Raveena Tandon but the movie has been delayed.
The new movie in question is directed by South Indian actress turned director Revathy and is a very sweet romantic film. Ayesha had said that she would do one or two meaningful movies a year and has agreed to do Revathy’s beautiful love story.

All those who insisted that Paathshala would be the last time one saw Ayesha Takia (left) on screen, post her marriage to restaurateur Farhan Azmi, can now be silenced. The actress’ mother, Farida, confirms that Ayesha, who had asserted in an interview to HT in April, that she was open to doing one or two meaningful movies a year, should be back in the studio “very soon, may be in a month or two” for Revathy’s next film. Ayesha was paired oposite Salman Khan in Wanted.

Sehar's (Ayesha Takia) world turns topsy-turvy when she gets a clue about the missing Sunday of her life, which points to a possible violent attack on her. A.C.P Rajveer (Ajay Devgan) takes up the case to sort out the complicated and jumbled up threads of Sehar's life. In the process of solving Sehar's case it comes to light that on Sunday, different people interacted with her and amongst them, one could be the accused. The lot included Ballu (Arshad Warsi), the taxi driver and his friend, Kumar (Irrfan Khan), a struggling NSD actor, Ritu (Anjana Sukhani), Sehar's close friend, a scary and suspicious character who resides in Sehar's society, and the group whom she had come across while partying at the discotheque. While trying to solve the puzzle, Rajveer stumbles upon a murder case whose clues hold up Sehar to be the culprit. Seher is at first amused, then mystified and then terrified when she realises she has a connection with all these totally unconnected incidents. But she cannot remember anything, Her fiancée ACP Rajvir Randhava is convinced that Seher is innocent, but he is also equally sure that she is linked to everything. Then another dead body is found. And the bracelet found near the corpse belongs to Seher. The evidence is mounting and all dingers point ay Seher. And still, Seher does not remember anything. Is Seher really as innocent as she claims to be? A dubbing artiste by day, is she also a serial killer by night? Is her bubbly charm but a mask that hides her darker, menacing self? As Seher desperately fights the fog that clouds her treacherous memory, ACP Rajvir has to fight the fact that the woman he wants to marry may well be a murderer and worse... What if one day went missing from your life?  |
